The Things We Do

  • As a branch we have set up groups who meet regularly at the Queen's Hotel and Dobbies in Perth, at the Visitor Centre in Crieff, the Laird's House in Blairgowrie and Loch Leven's Larder in Kinross . The groups aim to provide the space for people to meet up, chat and generally provide support and friendship.
  • We provide clearly written information about the condition at our meeting groups.
  • We have a regular newsletter which is sent out, available online or by email.
  • We operate one phone number 07552 368 216 - phone us with your enquiry and the right person will get back to you.
  • We provide grants for big ticket items which can't be funded by other means. Grants are subject to the Society's rules
  • We provide finance for courses to support local people who have been recently diagnosed with MS.
  • We organised a series of workshops with Tayside Health Arts Trust. The folk that had the opportunity to be part of the Course really enjoyed it. The course resulted in the creation of some really special artworks (and some the new friendships) which are certainly worth a look. Catch them by clicking on the link Gallery
  • We hold fundraising events - From Cake Breaks to Film shows and Quiz Nights we try to be innovative with our ideas for raising money.
  • But that's not all - we are out and about in the area. In 2013 we were at Rewind and the Rotary Charity Fayre, in 2014 we've been setting out our stall across the area at different locations.
