Thursday Daytime Meetings - Mainly Socialising @ Queen's Hotel

Sadly, following low attendances at Queen's on Thursdays we have concluded that we could not continue the daytime meetings in that time slot.

We are looking into providing another meeting at Queen's and are looking to find times which are available for the Hotel and for the therapists, which will attract sufficient numbers.

We will post on this site and on our Facebook page when new arrangements are in place.

Davidson's Chemist - Ask an Allied Health Professional events

Davidson’s Chemist in association with Age Scotland is hosting some “Ask an AHP” events during August and September across Perthshire.

AHPs are Allied Health Professionals which is a term which covers health specialist areas like Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Chiropody. AHPs will be available to answer a range of questions relating to everyday health problems, provide information and advice and signpost to other services, if that is required. The events will be held in Davidson’s premises as follows:

    Donation from the Scottish Vintage Tractor and Engine Club

    The Scottish Vintage Tractor and Engine Club recently held a Charity Ploughing Match raising £530 which they have kindly donated to the branch.

    The donation was presented to Fundraising and Awareness Co-ordinator, Tracey Gellatly at the SVTEC Members' Open Day on Sunday, 3rd May, 2015, at Balboughty Steadings in Scone.

    We would like to say a huge "Thank You" to the members of the club for their generousity.

    We were delighted to receive the following donations from our supporters in the final three months of last year:
    • £455 anonymous donations
    • £200 from Mr Cutler for "cat sitting".
    • £144.15 from the family and friends of the late Richard Anthony Simms
    • £50 from Slimming World at Auchterarder (pictured).
